Rainbow moonstone belongs to the mineral family feldspar and moonstone generally was given its name as it resembles the glow of the moon seen through a thin veil of cloud. Like the great glowing orb in the sky that it's named after, moonstone has long enchanted people with its stunningly beautiful and mysterious play of light. Rainbow moonstone is actually a type of labradorite which accounts for the beautiful flash of colour that dances across her surface. 

Rainbow moonstone is a stone of fullness, fertility and fruition- she boldly reminds us that there is always possibility and magic! It's a deeply feminine stone that illuminates our intuition and empowers connection with our inner goddess.
