Rainbow moonstone belongs to the mineral family feldspar and is so named as it resembles the glow of the moon seen through a thin veil of cloud. Like the great glowing orb in the sky that it's named after, moonstone has long enchanted people with its stunningly beautiful and mysterious play of light. Rainbow moonstone is actually a type of labradorite which accounts for the beautiful flash of colour that dances across her surface. 

Rainbow moonstone is a stone of fullness, fertility and fruition- she boldly reminds us that there is always possibility and magic! It is a deeply feminine stone that illuminates our intuition and empowers connection with our inner goddess. It represents growth and completion and nourishes the soul with vitality, joy and optimism. Rainbow moonstone is, as the name suggests, connected to the moon and unlike labradorite, rainbow moonstone is specifically associated with the full moon- a time for reflection, appreciation and to dance in celebration of the blessings and abundance received from our new moon intentions. We use moonstone at the full moon to harness lunar energies for use throughout the month for manifestation magic.
